Assassin’s creed Black flag was a masterpiece. This newer and what should be better game is worse. Though visually is looks good and it’s much more open, the story is so slow. I’m on normal hardness and it takes FOREVER to level up. And what really sucks is the fact that if you get a really nice piece of gear or armor you can’t use it until you’re at that level. So you’re basically capped at how strong you can be or who you can fight until you reach the next level, which it take forever to get to! The gameplay is less intuitive and more confusing and all on top of that this game has some of the worst lip sync in a game I have ever seen. You would think it’d be better than black flag because it’s newer but it seem like it was made before because black flag has much better gameplay and a more intriguing story. You feel pretty pointless and the momentum isn’t really getting any faster that I’m frustrated and done with this game. The final push was when I got to Athens, which should be a city full of so many things, I found nothing except for a sync point. The only thing I found so far they can help you upgrade is a blacksmith, which they didn’t have in Athens or the town next to it. Super frustrating and doesn’t make sense. Also, really sucks to basically have to upgrade your armor and weapons every level or so to keep up to par with the people you’re fighting. Just feels like poor design.
