Samantha Gillespie

Pointless and slow with unlikable characters. The aesthetic is cool but even its artistic edginess isn't enough to carry this drag of a movie. Also, this should not be labeled as horror.

Terrible acting, even from Josh Lucas, which was surprising. The plot wasn't good either, and the over used environmental trope of 'oil is bad and evil' is super annoying. This movie is not as bad as say, Sharknado, but it's not much better.

Nothing amazing but it's a good, solid monster flick that did not disappoint.
