I was put off of it at first, as the New Zealand landscape isn't anything close to Montana, and because it was so visually dark. But as I got into the story more, the tension between the major characters characters became overwhelming and the storyline unfolded. I was hooked, waiting for a death. By the end, I felt like I had been punched in the gut! I reviewed it over and over in my head. Despite its flaws, a very powerful movie.
