Excellent book. So humbling but inspiring to read about the pioneers & heroes who started, managed, monitored, publicised & funded nature conservation. This is a fantastic chronicle detailing the arduous efforts and evolution of the Wildlife Trusts.

I'm quite the humbug but this was a very uplifting, enjoyable & educational (for me) program.
This program reminded me just how special Christmas is and improved my normally negative view of humans significantly.
I'm looking forward visiting Blackburn.
