I know that there are like 50 other 1 star reviews saying that this game is good and it is, this is one of those comments. Most other one star reviews talk about how it is slow paced, as you progress it gets really engaging. The first part of the game can be slow and hard to some inexperienced players, once you get the dash in Greenpath the game gets a lot faster paced. Other reviews talk about how they get lost to often, hollow knight is a Metroidvania and in these types of games it is easy to get lost or confused, I will simply say to deal with it, as you explore you find these things called Stag Stations which is basically the fast travel system of the game, you can find one in each area and it can help you get around much quicker. One last thing I will cover is difficulty, Hollow Knight is a challenging game and that is no understatement, These people are usually new to this type of difficulty and can’t persist while others just have a skill issue. Hollow Knight is a good game, buy it and don’t listen to most of the 1 star reviews, this game was made by 3 people btw so keep that in mind while looking at other reviews.
