Servers are so bad that often you feel like your players are running underwater with no control, regularly disconnected or experience lag even with 20mbps latency. When opponents forfeit at a draw you don’t get the win, resulting in players doing it extremely frequently just to be toxic. The game is littered with bugs and glitches and even now in June it seems like every promotion has some form of error that EA then have to fix and compensate. Rewards are extremely underwhelming for elite players as the game only caters for people who spend tons of their own money. Pack luck is unquestionably more favourable for new players and players who have had time away in order to hook them in, meaning regular players who log in often are punished. The constant press feature is far too strong and means most matches feel like I’m not actually playing a person at all, but just battling a swarm of AI movements, resulting in scrappy and chaotic matches where the final score feels like complete luck whether you win or lose. This is the only football game on the market so we will all keep buying it, but that doesn’t mean the standard isn’t shockingly bad every single year. EA’s fifa games have been in production for 30 years and if anything it’s getting worse and more lazy every year.

This game has been out for 8 months and is STILL littered with errors, glitches and bugs. Unrealistic player behaviours, button delay and lag, players regularly kicked from online servers and today still no FUT rewards 10 hours after the problem was identified. The average player likely pays over £100 on this game and still every year it gets worse
