Had never listened to Chamkila in my life, but watched the movie the other day. Hands down one of the best movies to ever come out of Bollywood, and surely amongst one of Diljit's finest works yet! Also accolades to Parineeti Chopra - she's just Brilliant 👏 The movie doesn't glorifies or criticizes anyone, just tells a factual story and leaves it to the audience's discretion.
A.R. Rahman's music is outstanding like always.
Imtiaz Ali has proved once again why his works have almost a cult-like following. Hats off to him for such a masterpiece!
