One star I'm giving is for the mechanics. The other star I'm giving is for the Pokemon selection. That's literally everything good I have to say about it. Did not live up to my expectations. I asked my friend why cant they make the Pokemon make the noises they actually make? He said "every Pokemon game they make them sound like a broken speaker. They're trying to keep it classic." My response is then why change everything else? I hate how few trainers they have and even battles with them are very different. If you defeat another Trainers Pokemon they can automatically send out another one without giving you the chance to swap out. They also attack first every time they switch. It's not based off of quickness anymore. Theres no gyms, no elite 4 , no champion, no reason to strive to be the best. The only goal is to catch all the Pokemon. Oh yeah and the graphics are worse than the GameCube. The vast lands you can travel through are super bland.
