I don’t know what the hell I’ve just watched. Stewart is amazing but with all the talking to pheasants, close ups of Stewart trying to nail that coy look all the way through and the haunting ghost of Anne Boleyn talking to Diana, it’s all a bit too strange for me. It encapsulates Diana’s alleged mental state and imprisonment but it hasn’t got a story to it. Just a weird couple of hours sewn together by terrible jazz soundtrack.
