The first time I ever saw Natsamrat was almost 40 years back on Doordarshan, as a 10 year old. The last scene left a lasting impression on me. It is what inspired me to take up acting in school , college and University - before the having to give up my passion at the altar of earning a living. I shifted from Mumbai to Bangalore 15 years ago .. having lost the experience of sheer joy theatre can provide , until I chanced upon a recording of Natsamrat played by Dr. Lagoo. And then came Nana' Natsamrat. The 3 hours , every scene , and the each facial expression and dialog delivery left me spell bound - hair raising experience. Beyond words. Sheer Bliss - Niravana.
