I feel I’ve been transported back to the late 60s and 70s when I watched The Original Series. It was like nothing I’d ever seen. Even the fact the doors opened as the crew approached them was amazing to me. To me, SNW is TOS with much better production values. Pike reminds me of Kirk and Ethan Peck makes Spock far more likeable but still Spock. I’m only a little way into the first series but looking forward to the remaining episodes and series 2 very much.

Just excellent. Don’t think twice about seeing it.

I liked it a lot. This really shows you shouldn’t take notice of newspaper critics. Steve Carell and John Malcovich have good onscreen chemistry and I liked all the characters, even the vile ones. Production values were excellent. The acting was good. This is all in my opinion and critics are entitled to dislike it but I really can’t see why they did.
