Reminded me a bit of the German Sci-fi,mystery thriller series Dark because it involved time travel but not in the familiar and fun Marty MacFly way we all grew up with; these stories are about an involuntary abduction. Individuals sent by unknown means to unfamiliar points in time, a terrifying concept if you put yourself in the shoes of the abductee able to return to the place but unable to return to the time they call home. Beforeigners takes the concept much further by looking at the social and economic effects of thousands of people being thrown into our time against their will and cohabitating the overcrowded cities alongside us. How do the modern day Norwegians; oppressed by 1000years of religious oppression and social etiquette adapt to the free thinking, talking and sexting shield maidens?
