I have just watched Alone In Berlin for the second time. I found it to be well acted and the story very moving with a powerful message. The latter of course is just how easily people can be taken in by propaganda. Just how some people will through the essence of their characters not be convinced . In the case of Otto and his wife the outcome was deeply harrowing. .I was unaware that the Guillotine was used in the way it was in Germany......... Coming up todate I think this film is quite significant as underrated films often are!!
