I left the movie theatre trying to decide how I felt about it. I couldn't put my finger on it, I guess I had higher expectations ? It was cute but a bit jumbled up. I think it could have been done really great, instead I'll say it was just good? Left a bit disappointed.

Disney, you have failed us with this movie. You've lost that purity touch. The violence went on way too long, the cruelty scenes of the ocean beasts were relentless. Not family friendly and the story line was poor. 👎 👎

For a disney type movie, I felt it had too much of a dark side. The life like elephants, are portrayed with heart felt emotions. Scenes of mocking from circus crowds, the captivity and abuse just didn't feel right for a children's movie. We know elephants were abused in the circus from years back, do we need to be reminded of its cruelty ? I think not. If I was a child watching this, I would have cried during more scenes than desired. I saw it as sad. Maybe thats why they only had four people in the theatre ?? Thumbs down for me. Why did I Choose this movie you may ask ? My husband was watching Avengers and I just needed to keep myself entertained for a bit. I never saw the movie Dumbo in my life so I thought, why not !
