Never did figure out what the, "dark secret from her past" was supposed to be. I think her dad yelled at her once when she was a kid, but I dunno. The acting was phenomenal, Amanda was right on point, but I found the pace remarkably slow, and there were too many poorly defined flashbacks and flash forwards. I seriously wish I had waited for it to hit Netflix, and even then I might have felt like I overpaid.
