Kovar Nosra

It wasn’t terrible, but it was far from good. I was looking forward to enjoying it being a long time marvel comics fan, and although the materials for a good movie were there it unfortunately fell short because of rather lack lustre acting, several minor plot holes, and the lack of chemistry between Carol Danvers, and Nick Fury to create a successful buddy dynamic. It seemed to insist on itself at times, as though it was trying to prove some overplayed point for the sake of a current trend, and if there was some kind of empowerment message in the movie it got lost in the predictability, and weak writing that constructed the film. However, it was better than anything the D.C. universe is putting out, so I rate it 5.5 stars out of 10.
