Janet Brodie

I love this movie, but had to watch it twice to begin to feel the full effects (not unusual for me). There are so many small but important things going on in a quiet way. Like a budding anthropologist who travels thousands of miles to study another culture finally trying to understand those within her own personal world. I love the characters, but especially the music. It will now be included in my top ten all-time favorite movies, along with Local Hero, Die Hard (only the first one), and Lone Star, among others.

I enjoyed it, especially the humor and the music.
