(Original post review during 1st week of early access) Not bad for game that was probs at its peak of development during a pandemic , same goes for all Yeh this will evolve into a great game , devs need positive support/constructive criticism , not 1 star caps lock… People also need to remember when BF4 was released - handful of bugs and the odd periodic crash with 360 consoles so already some forgetful comments getting posted , for assuredness check the Xpatch notes for all BF titles they soon address issues , like with this playing Manifest/discarded remind me of the dawnbreaker days (all be it it doesn’t turn Xbox off like dawn did) so nothing new but that BF4 map ran great in the end and so will those 2042 maps . Takes abit of time but that soon flies , let them fix the usual release bugs then go from there Despite suggestions and even though PC gamer gives this a good rating of 80% , it don’t deserve so many seemingly real negative reviews here for the simple fact you can still experience classic BF moments - need to give it more time… Also be mindful of the fact that it is a live service so these games evolve over time and always have done Bugs and performance aside that is currently destined for the ironing board - Portal plenty of old school fun there even the old voice overs etc are spot on , love it Legacies? perhaps some reconsidered either way it plays well most of the time at this current stage that’s all I ask for so no certainly ain’t game breaking having no scoreboard (as handy as it was seeing how well or bad you stacked up across the board) but neither does it change or alter the fact that you can still have some pritty insane moments… Sure where 2042 AOW is concerned , yeah it could do with normal soldier classes both Russian and American classes etc playing along side the specialists….other BF usuals like squad wiped/saviour Xp and marksman bonus for snipers would be nice to see back sure , I’d also like to see more of the BF4 equipment slots like the ECM jammers , the giro stabiliser for the little bird and so on in the future - That would be sweet. So game devs need positive support no two ways about it… Besides ain’t really fair to judge or rate a game that aint finished providing its content whilst offering a decent level of service…rate it at the end…..trust they play their own games and so they’ll wan it playin good just as much as you. —————————————— 2nd December See Patch notes Update #3 best update yet most bugs gone plenty of QoL changes. In terms of AOW performance Manifest/Discarded still remains an issue for me sometimes mid match but it’s definitely improving ————— 3.1# 9th Dec Changes to the bolt you’ll pleased to know. Crossplay setting now available And bunch of other tweaks. The sound still isn’t quite right , not hearing soldiers with c4 whilst in tanks for instance sound in general of soldiers distance (Some Portal features currently - Gun master by jack frags 👍👍👍 Conquest/Rush of ages - Dice 👍👍👍)
