An honest review from a WWE Video Game Lifer
I was on the fence about 2k20, but the one thing that made me pull the trigger was the idea that if I enjoyed 2k19, then Iโd enjoy 2k20.
2k19 wasnโt perfect, but it was a lot of fun IMO.
2k20 isnโt perfect. It does feel like it has note flaws than its predecessor. But it hasnโt stopped me from having fun.
I had 6 matches and hereโs what Iโve found out so far.
The ropes bounce all around when you Irish whip and a limb gets stuck. It doesnโt happen often, but it happens here and there.
Targeting isnโt as bad as everyone seems to make it out to be. Itโs no worse than previous incarnations of the game.
The controller change isnโt that big of a deal at all. Iโve gotten use to it with ease.
The character models donโt look great. But then there are moments where theyโre really good and you start to wonder about all the crazy reports.
If you liked 2k19, youโll enjoy this game. I usually wait until December to download community creations. I donโt build caws anymore and I really donโt care about showcase.
Rating: 7/10
Verdict: Unsure and on the fence? Wait a few month, theyโll more than likely release patches and the game will be much smoother. If youโre a fan of 2k19, youโll surely enjoy this.
