It was familiar enough yet different enough to pull me in and keep me there. And as a woman, why would I not be very interested in seeing Rhaenyra Targaryen ascend to the throne? But of course we also have to watch women be sacrificed in one way or another (there will be blood). Rooting for Rhaenyra is kind of like really wanting a woman to be elected U.S. President ~ we’re up against unbelievable odds. Mainly from pathetic old white males and their privileged millennial sons. Sorry, but may the dragons burn all their arses. Hoping things turn out better for the female dragon riders 🐉

What a heartbreakingly beautiful film. I hope his birth mother watches the movie so one day they can meet. ♥️

Very original psychological thriller….great cast. Unexpected twists and turns, and a surprise ending. Worth the watch!

The sounds of the insects and birds, of the wind in the trees and the distant thunder, are the compelling underpinnings of this deeply touching, heartwarming and heartbreaking film about a human family from Korea, trying to survive in a new world, a world both welcoming and hostile. Their love survives. The performances are all incredible. The direction is restrained and beautiful.
