Brilliant pt1 to the UseYourIllusion extravaganza. But Axl covering McCartney so early in the set sounded awkward. Should waited until later, like around side 4. As a Beatles fan, I was turned off in 1991, and am very glad they didnt include it on GnR Live 1987-1993.

Never bothered with the CD as I have both HotRocks remastered London vinyl double LPs, but I scored an original used octagon die-cut issue for a mere $5! Considering it was a typical 1969 pre-tour cash grab it holds together very well, interspersing hard rock + psychedelia like few bands of yhe era could do. (Even theBeatles' were more distinctly divided by period than theStones.)

I love having bought the red translucent 180g/3LP vinyl for only (?) $40US, but it couldve fit onto 2 albums vs the unwieldy tri-fold deluxe sleeve. Excelllent music + presentation though, so a worthy addition to my ever-growing vinyl heap. I heartily recommend it to any SERIOUS fans of IronMaiden!

Waaay back during the Clinton Era, a clerk at RoughTrade records in the Haight/Ashbury turned me on to RevCo"BeersSteers+Queers" but they were sold out so she sold me their earlier YGDSOB/in-concert CD instead with a guarantee to refund my 13.99 if I hated it. After 6or7 listens (very LOUD too!), I returned to RoughTrade to snatch up BS+Q which was equally intense. I added RevCo to my KMFDM collection, then scored some Ministry+FrontLineAssembly; while much of America was obsessing over "grunge," most of the Bay/GayArea was taking hold of "Industrial" ear-wrecking noise. (It was MUCH more club/thrash friendly!) Long out-of-print, I recommend it most highly. And somehow I snagged a vinyl double*45rpm LP for my best pal Raymond, who still owned a turntable. *1.IntroYGDSOB/CattleGrind/WeShallCleanseTheWorld+2.ThirtyEight/InTheNeck/YouOftenForget+3.TVMind/UnionCarbide+4.AttackShipsOnFire/NoDevotion...but fat chace landing this 4-sider for under $155!

Excellent memento from their 1st RJD phase, recorded in Seattle&SanAntonio, with a couple of Ozzy-era songs (NIB/ChildrenOfTheGrave) actually emulating the originals; Dio was riding a wave that would carry him thru 1986 at least, and this was a helluva start. (If you can find the 2nd deluxe MobRules with a bonus CD recorded 4.22.82 in Porkland, snag it - in sound is superb, and it was early on the Black&Blue tour so Ronnie sounded more like 25 than 33.)

Excellent compilation but, with no HelenWheels and NOTHING from the brilliant Venus&Mars, it loses many points for me. (Mull of Kintyre? Let'em In? Pleeease...give me SallyG anyday. But at least it has the full JuniorsFarm, which was horribly edited in the UK for Thatcheroid political reasons.)
