The hype train you ride on in this movie careens into orbit. The fights scenes are a franchise best, but the way Toriyama fleshed out both the Saiyan race and his characters also gave the film a purpose in the wider narrative. Heart, humor, and HYPE, exude from this movie like a Super Saiyan God. While it has faults, these are beat down by all the quality entertainment. 7/7 Dragon Balls.
