Though the life journey of Our Nation's pride Saina is worth watching but all the low ratings are for the bad cinematic experience. From dialogue delivery to background music, from make up to cinematography lots of editing are required.
With such inspirational life story, we were expecting a good movie which will remain in the memory for a longer time. We can still recall the magic of 'Chak de India'. And yes biopic can also be mesmerising like 'M.S Dhoni'.
But this biopic is only 'One time watch' (provided you have patience to let go your all film appraisal skills) Just for the sake of seeing the struggle and victory of Saina and her parents.
At some point, I feel that this film had made mockery of their life struggle as it all showed in lighter way. Where as it takes a lot to raise a player like Saina especially in a middle class family. Remember how 'Dangal' or 'MarryCom' brought tears in our eyes!
Few scenes where Saina making strategies in head to defeat opponents are good. But since we already watched standatd biopics like 'Bhag Milkha' audience is not going to settle for these peanuts..
Meghna Malik (A super excited mom), Manav Kaul (A dull coach) and Parineeti (a tensed player) tried their best to save the biopic.
But Alas! No one can save a badly directed movie. Overall this sports film is an average one.
