A little lengthy in my opinion, but that didn't stop this movie from captivating me in every way! Definitely will watch again!

Just watched this movie tonight and my goodness, what a ride!! A little slow at first, but entertaining enough to get you through to the best parts of the movie, and once you're there, you're on the edge of your seat for the rest of the runtime. I'm a car lover, so this movie was naturally entertaining for me, but even if you have nothing to do with cars, this movie can still put you through all of the emotions possible. 5/5, reccomend for absolutely any human being!

I am 18 years old, and I just now finished watching the Shining for the first time! I have been wanting to watch it for years now, and for some reason, just never got around to it! (My thoughts) The movie was great. It's one of those movies that does a good job on actually creeping you out. It doesn't rely on jump scares or complicated plots, it's just genuine, classic horror. I do think that they rushed Jacks progressive insanity. It would have been nice to see him slowly become a monster, but I understand that they could only do so much. I also think it's about 10 minutes too long. Other than that, great movie! Definitely one that I will watch again! 8/10

When I was little, I only recognized Elton by one song, which was "I'm Still Standing". My whole life I have loved that song dearly. I am 17 now, and when I seen that this movie was coming out, it brought back the memories of listening to that song. I further began to research Elton and his astonishing music career, and everything with it. I went and watched the movie opening night, and it beyond exceeded my expectations. I now know A LOT more of his songs, and listen to him religiously just about everyday at some point. I just purchased a $31 2 record set of all of his hits. I will certainly watch the movie again in theaters and when it comss out on DVD. I highly recommend this movie for anyone of the right age.
