I have mixed feelings about this game: Pros: - Realism (conditions only): though the graphics are absolutely embarrassing for a “21” game, the wind effects, bounces, greens, etc. Are very realistic and gives you a similar challenge you’d see out on the course. - PGA Tour: only game mode worth playing. They could have thought out sponsorships a bit more. Why change every round? Maybe give options for season-long contracts you have to fulfil? I’d consider myself average at the game. I win every 1 in 3 tournaments with my guy, but obviously nobody will win every tournament of a season, so i think season long contracts would be better! - Customization: Really enjoy the options they give you when customizing your player. Didn’t even have to scan my face and he looks just like me! Cons: - 6GB and I payed $70? What an absolute joke. - COMMENTATORS: BY FAR THE MOST ANNOYING PART OF THE GAME! So repetitive, so cheesy, so distracting. Don’t worry... I’ll admit when I mess up in a game, but I’m genuinely Serious when I say that they have costed me 2 tournaments when putting on the 18th. It will be dead quiet, then they start blabbering on about restaurants in the city, telling dad jokes, etc. What is that? I’ll be on my backswing and they’ll just start talking. Not cool. I’ve finally just muted them. - No pro options: Really?... a new (decent) golf game comes out every (it seems) 5-8 years. I can’t play with DeChambeau? Tiger? Phil? Rory? What a shame. 2K absolutely kills NBA 2K every year, and the ONE golf game they make, they can’t even add a “play with a pro” option? Overall, I give this game a 65-70% . I won’t uninstall it, but it sure has made me hopeful for 2K’s next attempt at a golf game. (Hopefully next one is made by EA)
