I played the original Gears of War on 360, 7 times, and finished it, too. I have to say this game has really remain loyal to the original game execpt they have made the graphic really awesome, I played in a 55 inch 4k LED and still no pixelations. The only downfall in my opinion is that, you cannot "Stomp" enemies no more as when they fall they simply dont bleed out but disappear instead, which is different from the original. I have to admit that I really donnot understand why they had to tone down the violence a notch for game which is rated R already. From a more positive point of view, they have added quite a few stuff, to the end of the game (before the final boss) which includes fighting with a Brumac, that is kindda a half-level in its own. Overall, if stomping is not a big deal for you, everything else is fantastic and I highly recommend it.
