I thought this show was very well made, with painstaking detail put into every character, Franxx, klaxosaur, and relationship, especially between Hiro and Zero Two. Lots of humor and thrilling moments, as well as sweet romance and tearful drama. Perhaps the only part I had a small problem with was the fact that Hiro and Zero Two never really got to come back to Earth and have a happy ending, but when you see them meet up thousands of years in the future, reincarnated into new bodies, you can't help but feel relieved, happy, and proud for the two. This anime is definitely the best I've ever watched.
