Years 6-8, 11-12, and year 21 are the "together" milestones that must be weathered if a marriage is to go the distance. And sometimes it's year 35. These are the years when break-ups happen. So the lead character Billy, is at her 8th year, with a pre-schooler and a new, nursing baby, suddenly she has a reality check, all because her husband Cooper makes her feel undesirable and he's bored and boring and playing at being married. He's in love with his image in this marriage, he's not in love with his wife and she senses it deeply. Most women sense when it's over for their husband. Silly conservative, vanilla guy. If he only knew what a can of worms he was opening... because she was remembering how real, intense and nearly fulfilled she was with the other guy, a thrill seeking bad boy, she'd nearly tamed... The lush part of this series is the much appreciated sex scenes, all really great for private viewing, character and story development. A series that finally takes a realistic look at the societal roles and life stages of a modern woman and a lesson in how a good lifelong partnership must fulfill both partners, not just one or unhappiness will fester and grow into a wall. We'd be fantasizing too if Brad were our former thrilling guy.... Billy chose Brad because Cooper was too shallow, was not truly in love with Billy and sadly he cannot admit he has a blunted lidibo. Cooper is a Stepford man.
