It's not that the show is bad. The storylines are good, thrills and production all good. Characters are well sketched and likeable. However the Emo, oh lord the emo, in this show is devastating. Clock running down, all abt to die, super thriller moment and then the lead characters want to take time off to have a massively emotional conversation right then. Not a one off. Every single episode. This is star trek meets Fault in our stars. Michelle yeoh character is the only one not dripping emo all over the carpets. She remains fun to watch. Unfortunately all other characters are cut from the same "Starfleet officer" cloth and little to distinguish them. If not for that the show wd be half it's runtime and been a solid 5 stars.
