"Utterly disappointed" UPENDRA the director. This was what we were all waiting for. No wonder he has great thoughts and his style of narrating raw truth in a crude fashion struck the chords with the common man in his earlier attempts. But his recent attempts in Uppi2 was a disaster, and so is UI. The screenplay is a big let down which does not knit the movie well. Movie is in bits and pieces. The concept of we need to pick the government representatives with almost care else public money will be wasted for their vested interest is a narrative he has been telling for long. One other concept which is good is every person must come out of the prison of their brain on their own and dins their own path which has moulded them by the opinions of people around and limited their possibilities of living life which they deserve and identify who/what is good for them and elect their representatives responsibly could have been told in a better way and he tried the same with his movie 'super' which was much better. Also people are so engrossed on their gadgets and social media which gives them the content that the goons want them to see which is actually far from the real happenings. The today's social medias narrative is actually what the mafias wants them to see to sell their stuff and divert the public's attention from the actual mishappening around.The heroine is a utter wasted character which is imposing.
