Excellent programming. I would love to see more of this instead of PBS's begathons of questionable medical theory programming shows.
I am a Jazz fan and I have worked at a Jazz station in the past. I miss my old job and when the station was shut down for more county and western music my job went as well.
I would rather watch this on a more weekly basis instead of the current boring programming. Ken Burn's Jazz made me do more research into the Jazz musicians that I was not familiar with and directed me to listening their videos on the internet. I was reminded that one of my former Dr's father was a Saxophonist back in the day of Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, and other Big Band greats. His father was very humble and only spoke briefly regarding his magnificent career. He said I did what I had to do to put my son through Medical School. No loans. No financial aid. Nothing. It was my best duty to take care of my family.
For that I am happy. Keep up the good work Ken Burns.
