I enjoyed this movie. I had no problems following the story and the effects were really well done. I found the characters to be relatable, especially Alita. I would've gladly sat for a longer version of the film to get more story development, but in no way did I leave the theater feeling disappointed. I would like to address the reviews from professional critics. They've been unduly harsh. This film was much better than the rating it received. Had the movie not been associated with Mr Cameron I don't think the ratings would have been as low; in my opinion, a different measuring stick is being inappropriately applied. It's not Blade Runner to be fair, but it's a well done film and the best manga adaptation I've seen.
