The Resident Evil show isn't as bad as lot of people are making it out to be. Granted that teenage Jade was annoying (there were times where I wanted to reach into the screen and ring her neck) and Adult Jade just kept making bad decisions, but hey she's wasn't supposed to be perfect. In fact, no character in the show was perfect and that is one of things that I like about it. Now I will admit that seeing Albert Wesker's ethnicity switched was a shocker as was him having daughters. However, I got over that and sat back to see where this was going. I actually enjoyed it....I also loved that they expanded on the Zombie lore, how the zombies lose their hearing and sight, but their sense of smell becomes stronger. Also the idea of the T-Virus evolving was also a nice touch. So, instead of listening/reading all the negative feedback, give the show a watch and I suggest watching all the episodes and then make up your mind. As for me, I just simply saw this as an Alternate universe of RE, thus why I enjoyed it.

First, I will point out to the people who complained about this show not being suitable for children. This show was not meant to be watched by children nor was it directed at children. This show is directed at adults who enjoy baking, sewing and all the other things that Christine McConnell showcased in this show. Along with it's dark and slightly demented humor. That being said, I actually loved this show and wished that Netflix would have given it another season. However, I am also realistic in that this show was likely not appreciated by many. Only those who appreciate the dark, quirky and unique enjoyed the show. Thankfully, many can continue to watch Christine McConnell on You Tube and/or Patreon (if one can afford Patreon).

I will be honest, I only watched two episodes of this show and completely lost interest because it was cliché. Bored Housewife misses the exciting life that she used to have, starts thinking about the Bad-Boy ex-boyfriend and we all know where it goes from there. While, I do like erotica, this one the was typical run-of-the-mill Bored Housewife story that has done to death. I'll stick to the kooky, paranormal shows/movies like Fear Street. At least that was entertaining...to me anyway.

From the moment I saw the trailer on You Tube I became immediately interested and I was not disappointed. To those who didn't like this movie, this is the kind of movie that you cannot take seriously. Yes, it was a bit over the top, but just enough to make me smile and keep me interested. I would definitely watch it again!

There is a reason why I have rated this show with two stars, it is because I did find it fairly entertaining. However, the historical inaccuracies and the use of modern music for a show that is supposed to take place in the 1800s just didn't fit. The acting wasn't too bad, but it wasn't great either. Now if this were marketed as an alternate universe of the 1800s leaning towards either Steampunk or it's sub-genre, Gaslight, I think it might have worked a little bit better.
