I watched the first movie a few nights ago to refresh my memory from 30+ years ago. I enjoyed the first movie back then and was pleasantly reminded of the charming ending. I feel like the writers tried too hard with the sequel. For this generation, I feel like the movie could have done better with keeping with the times. Thank God this movie is on Prime and not in the theaters.
