As brit flicks go, not too bad, but there is something very odd about the Disneyfied version of Katie Adie hovering around, a saintly figure untouched by the clouds of cigarette smoke that enshroud everyone else. At least they didn't make the impressive Mark Strong wear a wig for once. Nevertheless, ultimately has a rather parochial feel - I'm sure this could have been made into a more compelling piece of storytelling.
