There's so much uplifting power and pride in seeing a successful, strong-willed, humble, and extremely talented BLACK women continue to beat the odds and stand for something impactful. For Beyoncรฉ to share her culture through HBCUs, dance, songs, interludes, costumes, instruments and so much more, made me even more proud to be black and see how much our cultural impact leaves monumental prints on society. I watch "Homecoming," when I need inspiration, or courage to keep striving for my greatest dreams--and Beyoncรฉ and these amazing performers of the film does just that. Some folks in the comments and reviews talk about how they "didn't get it" or "other women do this too" and your problem is that you're afraid of the other side of the spectrum, to see black prosperity, and get outside of your usual bubble and become uncomfortable with issues that aren't relative to your background. Beyoncรฉ was the first black woman to headline Coachella, and boy did she do it justice and BEYOND.
