This movie would've been would've been good if the books didn't exist. It doesn't follow the storyline of the first book. My cousin and I have been waitng months for it to actually come out. We love the books soo much (we have practically memorized them) and watched this movie with our younger siblings who haven't read the books. They asked tons of questions and expected us to know the answers which we didn't because the whole storyline and plot changed and was ruined. Also, there wasn't a good climax. I would've enjoyed an epic battle at the end. Instead it was from the confort of their own home (at least Artemis Fowl knows how to social distance properly). - Lailah and Sultan Rahman (11 and 12 year-old criminal masterminds)
