I have not even seen this movie yet but I am very happy to give it 5 stars. The trailer was very captivating and Anthony Hopkins and (Dame?) Helena Bonham Carter seem to be perfectly cast. I will do a more expansive review on Facebook (my friends love them!) As for the reviewer who gave this movie one star? I am flabbergasted!

This is one of the best war movies ever made and filmed on an Epic scale with no CGI. Rod Steiger and Christopher Plummer are perfectly cast as the two main protagonists Napoleon and the Duke of Wellington. The actual battle scenes are superb and realistically show the true horror of war. The armies are made up of soldiers of the Red Army as this film was made in the USSR. Some of the dubbing is very obvious but it does not detract from the enjoyment of the movie.
