De De Pyaar De is a fun and light way to spend your weekend. The story is about how a 50 year old man falls in love with a 26 year old girl. The story may seem unrealistic and sexist at times, but it is made beautifully with comical dialogues; at least it is better than the unrealistic same old school cliches where actors like Salman Khan, Sharukh Khan and others are still romancing girls half their age. Rakul Preet Kaur is the one who steals the show, where the chemistry Tabu and Ajay hold is what keeps the viewers intrigued. The story is fun and beautiful and although a bit sexist at times, it is definitely not made for narrow minded or misogynists, the film requires an educated and smart audience who can see the film for what it really is. My rating for the film would be: 3.5/5.
