As soap operas go, this one is pretty violent. So much so, that it gets repetitive and boring as it goes on. The acting is pretty good, though.

In the interest of full disclosure, I speak Spanish as close to a native from Puerto Rico as you can get. That being said, I don't always understand what they are singing here and when I do understand what they say, I'm not sure I understand what it means. The beauty of Flamenco is in its mystery. And the moorish wailing! This movie is gorgeous just to look at, but it also makes love to the ears. I love seeing people enjoy doing what they love being best at.
