Part tele novella part coronation street. SO many missed opportunities & Inconsistencies. I SO wanted them to capture the magic of 90’s Ibiza. The art direction could have been a love letter to that time but instead it was a cheap modern postcard. The writing missed the mark massively. Badly developed and articulated characters in a clumsy who done it. I appreciated the feminist undertones but it was all over the place. This shows secret weapon & only saving grace was the location. All that said I’d be interested to see where this writer goes once they’re passed the drunken toddler stage of writing.
