The leads have absolutely no chemistry. Poor Kristen is trying so hard, but nothing. I’ve watched 4 episodes, hoping they got into a rhythm, but nothing. All i keep thinking about is why would anyone be interested in that guy? And i kinda wondered if he was drunk in at least the first episode. This is a rip-off of an incredibly wonderful show, Only Murders in the Building, and it is bad.

I thought Tom Cruise was a poor fit for Reacher when he did the movies. Turns out, it’s not as much the actor as it is the director and writers that ABSOLUTELY RUIN THINGS!!!! How stupid are you? The material is already written. Just use it. Reacher was never a vigilante. He didn’t just bust into a home and start shooting everyone he saw. He developed his case, made sure he was correct and then went after only the bad guys. He’s an ex-special investigator, not an FBI operative. This show sucks. It’s nothing but shoot em up and fighting, with no plot or direction or even valid story line.

This is one of the worst things I’ve seen recently, and I’ve watched a horrible, preachy Dick Wolf FBI episode. I thoroughly enjoyed the original Penny Dreadful, despite plot holes. That is not the case with CoA. I didn’t realize dreadful referred to the absolutely atrocious writing. And I really want the time I wasted watching it back. This show should be titled “An enormous, gross, muddled mess of nothing with zero plot, no character development and no actual story circling a filthy drain full of dead fish”. And by the way - the Rotten Tomatoes score is from paid reviewers. The audience score - from you and me - is only 46%. Little bit of fraud going on there.
