Some well filmed sequences of accidents and fights in space that seem to be meaningless to the actual plot l, which is basically that a son should travel a zillion miles because his father has gone rogue, have a shallow unfulfilling reunion where … *spoiler alert* … his father tells him ‘I never cared about you’, he says ‘I know’ then his father commits suicide and Brad’s character flies through space using a piece of metal as a sail and everyone who has been waiting for an hour and a half is relieved that that was resolved in a few minutes with minimal dialogue. I think if Brad Pitt’s character felt anything, and you cared, it might have has something to say. As it is, I would say just cut to the action scenes and watch them sans story and that’s about all there is in this movie

Watching this on Netflix made me come and check out the reviews it’s so badly made. Feels like the director had no idea of what it would be like inside the movie he is making - skip all the reality so we can say the lines. I could not get halfway through. Which is a shame. Feels like they had the budget and the actors to do a decent job, but this is a waste.

The power goes out and suddenly small town America is out to kill, injured people should be left to die and towns wont let people drive through. I like the way this is filmed, and the tension, but the story makes no sense at all. Two stars! But if the story made sense I’d rate much higher.

Started well, but overall has cheap 80’s style tv plots, lame stormtroopers, and super unrealistic scenes (hand to hand fighting in the middle of a fire fight anyone?). I like the idea, I wish it felt more real somehow.
