It was okay, but it got boring very fast. Some parts were funny, nothing scary though.
I kept almost falling asleep or not being able to sit still, There was only four of us in the cinema room.
!FULL OF SPOILERS!
It didnโt really feel like there was a storyline this time, and the amount of gore was unnecessary.
I love gore but the whole movie was just continuous murders that really made no sense to be put in, with just irrelevant characters. And the lack of commons sense from the actors was awful.
The beginning scene for instance, what relevance did that family have to the movie, they couldโve started it from the men who found them in the old house. Didnโt even hear anything else from that family again in the movie.
Everybody just ignored the blood on Artโs hands when he was dressed as Santa, not realistic. No child would even go near a Santa Claus that looks like Art the clown, and no parent would allow them to do so. Thereโs no way he got away with that bombing. How they didnโt believe Sienna after the news, is wild.
The murdered bodies didnโt look real this time.
Also, killing off the brother was just pointless, the brother and sister didnโt really have a plot this movie. You barely saw anything of the brother in the movie, he didnโt even seem to show mental illness as much as his sister did, which is unrealistic after everything he went through. Of course theyโve got to shove in some rubbish gen z podcast girl. Her boyfriend was as irrelevant as her.
Gabbyโs Character was weird, and why was she so obsessed with Sienna. How did Sienna Magically get her sword back as well. Gabby literally watched hell open up for her and let herself fall in. Which Iโm sure that Demons will go after her in the next one, and that Sienna will have to go and get her out of hell, YAWN*.
There was no atmosphere, no suspense and no tension. It was just a bloodbath with no meaning behind it, not a plot in sight. Somebody else said it in the reviews, it does not hold the audienceโs attention because the killings have no story behind them.
There wasnโt even a chase this time.
I mean, the shower scene, they literally stood there and gave up. I agree with another review, there as no climax and that I was relieved when the movie was over because I just wanted to get my moneyโs worth and then leave.
You didnโt care whether the characters lived or died because you had no connection to them, you felt nothing because the producers failed to make you feel any sort of feelings for them.
They literally ended the Movie in the EXACT SAME way as they did in Terrifier 2. Once again, they dragged the movie out when it didnโt need to be, just a very slow ending again. Same fight scene, same beheading, Vicky is going to find a new host again (most likely Gabby in Hell or Gabbyโs mum in the chair), and Art escaped through the window.
So predictable.
Sienna Let her loved ones die and didnโt even seem bothered by it, neither did Gabby.
I donโt think this needs to be carried on, it doesnโt need any more in its sequel, I feel like itโs died out. Every single Terrifier movie is the same.
Overall, it just felt really rushed and lazy!
I left the cinema tired, stressed and with a headache. What a waste of 2 hours.
I donโt think that Iโll bother continuing to watch the sequel.
