Endless cliches and overused tropes that were thrown together for a 'fangirl' moment - newflash, it sucked - and was beyond borderline cringe. Plotline and characters were not in the least bit developed or believable. Plot was lumpy and jagged at best and the parallel universes of the younger and older generation made little sense. Characters had the structural integrity of uncooked pasta and lacked credibility and spine. Spicy scenes were dragged unnecessarily and added nothing to the plot, could be done without so younger girls could enjoy this more. The younger characters were probably intended as ragebait and the acting was far below sub-par. The older characters' acting was okay, I especially enjoyed seeing Allison Williams' in a different cinema type (to 'Get Out' - she was phenomenal in this). Maybe a sole focus on just her plotline would have been more interesting. I would say this is not even for Gen Z, but for Gen Alpha watchers. Only suited to audiences under the age of 12 minus certain scenes.
