Lots of laughs and as you get to know the unique, different personalities, affection and even more laughs. It’s an intelligent, well written half hour of fun.

This is a excellent show. I wasn’t expecting much because I’d read a bad critique. I’m so glad I watched it anyway.

Brenda Blethyn is brilliant. She reflects the deep shade and visceral atmosphere of the northern countryside that the outstanding cinematography gracefully unfolds with a earthy elegance. Brenda’s Vera is both endearing and intimidating, always eliciting respect. Although the murders and their solutions can seem a bit formulaic, Ms. Blethyn and her talented surrounding cast draw you in and, when the crime is solved, leave you unrelieved and wanting for more. Make no mistake. You will become addicted.
