I was expecting this show to be awesome because Gilgun is fantastic. The fact that it's also based loosely on his life gave me great expections. However, I found the show a hodgepodge of old TV shows and movies. It's like if Shameless (UK), Trainspotting and This Is England had a baby with a dash of generic 2000s UK TV humor. It's writing is typical. It's humor is recycled. The plots are boring and expected. This show can be best described as "Recycled Material". It's very disappointing.
