People giving it one star for historical inaccuracies are forgetting that this was not a documentary, it was a made for tv miniseries, and sometimes event's must be changed around to fit the entire narrative in a limited plot. With that being said, I would have loved a 9th episode depicting the aftermath of the battle, as instead we are left with so many cliffhanger's. You'll have to turn to the internet to find out what happened with Edith the Fair, Edith of Wessex, Morcar, and other's. I'm okay with the historical inaccuracies and it's wrong to give this movie one star over them. Having Emma killed by her son is more exciting then having her banished and dying from old age. The non-existent power struggle in Normandy between William's wife Matilda of Flanders, and her father Baldwin is a better story then the real one that William just kept control for himself and ruled from England. Overall I thought the acting was fair, although it could have been better. But I binge watched the entire series, and I wasn't disappointed.
