The trailer was great. I remember watching it and thinking that other producers should watch this to see what a great trailer is. The show itself was disappointing. I thought that I may not have been the intended audience for this show. It's dark and incredibly. monumentally slow. I'm not even bothered by the fact it was dark, I've watched dark shows that I actually really like but, I'm disappointed because it was monumentally boring and dragged out. It did not need 8 episodes. A one hour and 15 minute movie would have been sufficient. It lacked impact. The only person I really felt sorry for was the main character's son. Even the conclusion was underwhelming. The character is barely believable as a cop. All you need is to watch the first and the last episode to get the story. All the episodes in the middle are fillers so drawn out that you can leave, go to the bathroom, come back and you wouldn't need to rewind because you wouldn't have missed anything. At some point I just had it on in the background for the noise while I did something else. So if you intend to watch it, take a few shots of espresso, perch yourself on a bed of barbed wire so you don't fall asleep and buckle down.

How does this show have such a high rating? The moustaches alone

Chicago Fire is a show about fire fighters based out of Chicago that also double as SWAT and detectives. That 2nd part isn't true but you'd think it was. I'm no expert, but I feel like the show stretches the truth about what firefighters do. Some of the things they respond to seem like something that would be handled by the police, but I feel the show does this because there's only so much mystery you can draw from a show about fire fighters. Some of my favorite episodes are those that involve an investigative nature. The show is decent and somewhat frustrating. I started watching this show on Peacock and did not realize that the show was part of the world involving 2 other shows, namely Chicago Med and Chicago PD so every once in a while an episode will start in the middle of a story or will conclude in an episode on one of the other shows so I'll have to google it to find what episode to watch in the other show Some of the episodes conclude in a somewhat lack luster manner. The cliff hangers may have you at the edge of your seat until the next episode where they jump several months/weeks/years ahead completely killing the drama and tension or it goes completely gets ignored. After some time, you learn not to expect much out of cliff hangers. Sort of like the boy who cried wolf. After some time, you ignore him because you think he's lying. But what do I know. The show is on season 12 and still going so they must be doing something right.

Simply put, Community is a comedy about a group of people, ranging in race, religion and age, that go to the same community college and inadvertently become friends after joining a spanish study group that was created by accident. Even that fails to explain the show adequately but I would definitely recommend it. I wasn't in love with the show when I started watching it and I couldn't understand why the show had such glowing reviews but having watched all seasons, I can understand why. I laughed so hard I scared my dog and cried. I loved the show so much I intend to watch it again BEWARE, SPOILERS LIE AHEAD One of the reasons I didn't like it initially is because Jeff having a thing for Britta was a little gross for me because she looks like she's barely 18 and he looks like he's in his 30s but, I finally got passed that. In the show's defense, I'm in my early 30s but have been told I look a lot younger and eventually we find out Britta is older than she looks. The show does tend to stretch what's believable, like how the hell Greendale hasn't been shutdown already and how it remains open for as long as it does, but that's also part of why the show is so good. My favorite episodes are those that revolve around paintball and how the school turns into a battle ground every time, because the game always gets taken too far. I would have loved to go to a school like that, but I think the running theme is that the school is so weird, that there is none other like it. I loved the animated episodes as well. The show was pleasant surprise because, while it could be predictable, it was also unpredictable. I would definitely recommend it!

This show takes traditional superheroes and brings a fresh new spin. I think a lot of people felt this way but, when I was watching the first episode and the superheroes introduced were a copy paste of the Justice League but with terrible names, I was ready to write it off. But the story they tell is more realistic in that good and evil isn't always black and white. The characters are more human than anything Marvel or DC has created. This show is dark. I thought DC was dark but this show is very very and immensely graphic. If you get squeamish easily, I wouldn't recommend watching this show. It had me at the edge of my proverbial seat all the way to the last episode. If you don't want spoilers, stop reading this now. My programed response after Omni man murdered his entire team was that he must have been controlled by someone to do so. Classic superhero trope. The entire time, I kept waiting for them to reveal who the true mastermind was, or to reveal that the other heroes were actually evil but nope, the guy was just a tyrannical dick. My issue with Omni Man is one day, he decides to very graphically murder his teammates seemingly out of nowhere and my question is this, why wait 20 years to do so? When he decides to stop pretending, his feelings towards humanity are those of humanity towards bugs, and he goes as far as to call his wife no more than a pet. Why pretend for so long? Judging by his temper when he nearly kills his son, he could barely contain his rage and yet, he did so for 20 years. They reveal that he can live for millennia, and that could be an argument as to why he waited so long, but the guy can barely contain his disgust towards humans while he is pummeling his son into submission yet he waited 20 years. Incidentally, this show needed a Batman. Someone who was clever enough to realize that it was important to exploit the Justice League's weaknesses, incase they ever went rogue. Although unlike Superman, Omni Man doesn't appear to have a weakness. I anxiously await more episodes!

I'm having a hard time getting through this series. The celebrity announcement in this show for starters makes me cringe. It's awkward. It feels like the celebrities forced the writers to make sure they introduced them and ALL their current accomplishments on every episode. The fact that they all say it in unison just makes it worse. It feels like the show is more focused on trying to please the celebrity guest, and the mystery solving is just an after thought. There's no lime or logic that points to the actual criminal. It's some random person they pull out of a hat. I mean scooby doo is obviously no Sherlock Holmes so the 'mystery solving' isn't exactly complex and yes, you might say that this is a kid's show so of course it's not complicated but, my reply to that would be "then why are they introducing celebrities that only an adult would know, if they weren't tring to pander to an older audience?" This may be an unpopular opinion but, Be coool Scooby Doo is the best version of this show in today's day. It's funny, witty and actually made me laugh. Too bad it was cancelled. Apparently a lot of people didn't like the animation style but, I actually enjoyed the show. Long story short, this is the worst version of Scooby Doo I have ever watched

Where do I even begin. The animation is insanely good as is the story. I came across this show on HBO Max by accident. I'd watched a few episodes of other shows but they were all very meh. This honestly blew my mind away. It's been a while since a show has hit the spot for me. I just got done with season 1. The combat animation is downright stunning. Like I rewinded a couple of times just so I could rewatch some fight scenes. The characters and story are engaging and well presented. The only thing that I wish we'd had more of is a backstory. We find out later that the enemy is called the Union and that's about it. Perhaps this show is based on a story taken from another medium that explains exactly who the bad guys are, but the show itself does not give us much to work with. All I know for certain after having watched season 1, is that the enemy is bipedal. Which really isn't telling us much. However, having said all that, I whole heartedly recommend you watch this show. I'm a little surprised that it's only rated overall as a 4.3

This is hands down one of my favorite shows. So much so that I watched it twice and i would watch it again. The story had me on the edge of my seat the entire time and the characters were well developed. The scenes are breathtaking as are the effects. Even though Will's robot story is a touch predictable it's still very touching. I think I may have shed a few tears. Even though it's science fiction, it's easy to imagine a world where everything in this show exists. It doesn't seem farfetched and ridiculous. The story has beginning, middle and end. No plotholes (at least, none that i can think of), infact the only part of it that was a little underwhelming, was the ending, where the kids manage to turn more robots like Will did with his. It sort of takes away from the relationship that Will has developed with his robot up to this point. Rather than a complex relationship developed over a long period of time, built on the challenges they endured together, it makes it seem as if befriending one of these terrifying creatures is actually quite simple. Aside from that, I would recommend this show. I still love it and fully intend to watch it again.

The show is alright. I do feel like they stretch what SWAT is or is not responsible for. I have no clue how law enforcement works so I could be wrong. I thought SWAT was called in to deal with volatile situations and not investigating crimes. But again, I have no idea how law enforcement works. I have a feeling it wouldn't have made it through 6 seasons if they only did that. I'm surprised the show has gone on this long. Every once in a while, they'll be a storyline that is interesting but for the most part it's the same thing over and over again. Some storylines I don't understand. Like why they bothered to introduce Erica and then kill her off 5 minutes later. There was potential in her character but it just fizzled out. Also, Hondo can make a perfect sniper shot, avoiding hitting the hostage, while leaning out of a hovering helicopter, but can't do that on the ground, 10 feet away from a hostage holding a criminal. It passes the time and I've honestly watched it this long because I'm mildly curious and it's annoying trying to find another show to watch. It makes being SWAT look very cool, despite the theme song's best attempt at dissuading that idea. Seriously, the theme song is absolutely terrible. I cannot press the 'skip intro' button fast enough. But sometimes they try a little too hard to make SWAT look cool. Hondo's shot of him walking away from a chopper as it takes off comes to mind. You'll like it depending on the kinds of shows you're into.

The acting is bad. Really, really bad. The acting, the "chemistry" that's so forced that it'll make you cringe. The main actress just seems like she's over compensating and her daughter is so annoying. The show probably would have been better if those two were replaced. It's so bad that it has deterred me from ever watching another show where she's the lead access. I don't recommend it. Spend those 10 hours you would have spent watching it, watching paint dry. I guarantee the latter will be more entertaining and easier to stomach despite the stench
