I am so disappointed. I have been looking forward to this since the book came out, and it was nothing short of horrible. The acting was so bad, and it felt like every character was played by a person from a local high school in 2023. Not one character felt authentic to the time, and the writing was redundant and vague at times. They relied on sweet nothings between unlikable main characters to fill dead space, which there's plenty of and the movie severely suffered from. So sad because the original Hunger Games is, in my opinion, one of the best book-to-film series adaptations. Fans of the franchise anticipated this film immensely, and so many of us will be left sorely disappointed. Last thing! Rachel Zegler should stick to theatre... I think she's more of a theatre actor.
